Description

Vision Truck Group, Canada's largest Mack/Volvo dealer is currently seeking a Night Shift Shop Foreman to help lead our Etobicoke dealership

We are seeking an energetic, customer focused, self-starter who can provide steadfast leadership, responsible for all operations and actions of the Etobicoke Service Department, reporting to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage 1520 technicians/apprentice to ensure the workflow of 50+ repair events get completed.
Assign the correct work to technicians based on experience level and ability
Oversee and direct technicians and apprentices based on OEM best practices
Work with Service Advisor to prioritize work communicate the repair process to customers throughout repair event.
Prepare repair estimates, and communicate to customers for authorizations
Review and audit repair orders for completion and quality
Work with Service Manager to implement and execute short, medium, and longterm goals
Maintain shop organization and cleanliness

Health and Safety:

Maintain good housekeeping standards with the facility through job delegation
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations by all employees under their supervision as required by the company and legislation
Ensure all PPE is worn as per company policy
Respond to any workplace hazards identified by the JHSC
Investigate incidents that result in employee injury or property damage
Ensure correct handling and storage of all products in the shop
Respond to and correct unsafe and/or improper behaviors

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in leadership / supervisor role
Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive or truck and coach
310T/310S license an asset
