Reporting to the VP Finances, the Financial Analyst - Process Improvement will participate in analyzing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function including helping with a variety of system automation.

The Financial Analyst - Process Improvement will implement processes that facilitate decision-making and action at corporate level.

It is a permanent, full-time position in accordance with Alvéole's current policies.

Role & Responsibilities

Gather and document user requirements, provide recommendations for solutions to meet these requirements, create any specifications that are needed and monitor the progress in delivery of the chosen solution.

Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and standardization of business processes and workflows.
Works with the team to develop solutions, participate in the design, perform tests and monitor the deployment.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with other projects or programs to validate business needs.
Offer training and organize workshops to properly support the needs of current users and new ones.
Work in collaboration with the different teams to ensure transparency and maintain communication.


More specifically:

Review and analyze a solution for a new multiple geographies, multi-currencies recurring billing software.
Migration to a new multiple geographies, multi-currencies General Ledger Solutions.
Eventually, iImplementation of a multidimensional database management system


Required Skills:

University degree in Business, Finance, Technology or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five years' work experience in business analysis, process management or related field.
Previous experience working with financial models and budgets.
Experience with young and fast-growing companies operating internationally.
Sense of partnership with several collaborators.
Works effectively in teams and independently.
Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate with all hierarchical levels.
Analytical, expert in solving complex technical problems.
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Mastery of the Office suite (Word, Excel).
Knowledge of the Mac (Apple) environment and Google tools, an asset.
Proficiency in accounting and CRM tools (in particular Quickbooks and Hubspot).
Minimum of 3 days a week working from the office.
Bilingual (Will need to communicate with all entities in North America).
