REQUIREMENTS:
- Education
- Completed related Degree and/or Diploma (DSW; CYC; SSW; REC & LEISURE)
- Minimum 5 years related experience including supervisory experience
- Demonstrated strong leadership teaching and coaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to create and support community partnerships, and work with consulting clinical teams
- Experience, knowledge and training in working with and supporting individuals, with Autism Spectrum Disorder, FASD, and Complex Behavioural Disorders
- Demonstrated competency in program implementation and data collection
- Demonstrated computer skills, experience in coordinating administrative and scheduling needs
- Demonstrated coaching of Safe Management, and Behaviour Support Protocols
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in a fastpaced environment with competing and changing demands
- Ability to be physically active and participate to model, teach and coach team members
- Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends
- Participation in the oncall scheduling rotation for the organization
- Ability to positively represent individuals and the Association in the community
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staff site orientation and ongoing modelling, teaching and coaching of all team members
- Coaching and providing leadership to staff teams and mentoring leadership within groups to deliver quality supports to individuals and families
- Leading staff teams through meetings and planning for individuals we support
- Responsible for becoming a Safe Management Trainer and to be actively involved in agency wide training of new hires
- Responsibility for the timely maintenance of all required documentation for program and individuals we support
- Ensuring support needs of individuals, as identified through Individual Support Plans
- Being a liaison to families as necessary
- Participating in a rotating schedule for supports of programs and individuals
- Ensuring the appropriate care, support, supervision, safety and security of individuals that we support

$21.65-$34.94 per hour
