We are a dairy processing company committed to delivering high-quality dairy products to our consumers.

As part of our dedication to excellence, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Production General Manager to oversee our production operations, sanitation and maintenance activities.


Responsibilities

  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions

Supvervision:


  • Working groups: Production, Sanitation, Maintenance.
  • Staff in various areas of responsibility
  • Contractors

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in dairy processing operations, with a thorough understanding of production workflows and best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in production machinery and plant maintenance, with a track record of implementing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Possession of a valid
    Plant Milk Grader Certificate, demonstrating proficiency in milk grading and quality control.
  • Hold a valid
    SQF (Safe Quality Food) Certificate, indicating proficiency in food safety and quality management systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on precision and accuracy in all aspects of production management.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the dairy processing industry.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
