Description

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security Supervisor to lead a team of security guards at a Canadian Public Safety site in Burnaby.

Rotation:
Monday - Friday,

Payrate:
$28.11 per hour

Job Duties:

Liaise with all security personnel regarding specific activities or concerns, maintaining open communication
Investigating and reporting incidents promptly and accurately
Maintain uptodate Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations
Monitoring of CCTV cameras, reviewing situations and reporting/advising onsite personnel of appropriate response
Greet visitors and staff members
Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires
Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders
Ensure confidentiality for staff members and the site
Enforce building security, and maintain a safe environment for all personnel and the public
Manage incoming calls, inquiries, and pass along vital information
Respond to inquiries according to site access protocols
Respond to emergency situations

Your 'Must Haves':

BC Security Workers License.
OFA 1 Certificate
Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years for clearance purposes
Class 5 Drivers Licence
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with using computers
