What you will be doing in the role of Electrical Assembly Labourer:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Printing of labels (lamacoid and stainless steel)
  • Weekly inventory counts and order coordination of shop consumables
  • Review cleaning and painting supply draws.
  • Deeper housekeeping tasks
  • Wire cuttings, DIN cuttings, Ground Bar cuttings, review (look for opportunities to recycle "scrap" internally)
  • Organizing left over parts inventory
  • Help with shipping preparation QA/QC wiping cleaning and taking pictures of the cabinets.
  • Communication act as liaison between electrical assembly technician and other departments
  • Support in any adhoc tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the fabrication shop.

Knowledge and skills required for the role:

  • High school diploma required
  • 1+ years of experience working in an industrial shop or shipping/warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance
  • Computer literacy
  • Competency with basic shop tools
  • Experience working with forklifts
