  • Summary:
  • The Collections Manager investigates value propositions associated with existing and new recovery programs within existing markets, and expanding into new markets. This role defines objectives to gain market share and maximize profitability, and executes plans to make those objectives achievable. The Senior Manager, Collections will lead the debt recovery / collections team, providing guidance, mentorship and structured support for the various teams, ensuring the performance of all programs.
  • Major Activities:
  • As a vital team member of the UpLevel team, the Collections Manager is responsible for the following:
  • Lead and participate in client meetings
  • Design, Direct, and Implement program forecasting, strategy and performance monitoring of the various programs including but not limited to, creating client score cards, performing KPI analyses, overseeing and monitoring data analytics, providing reports for clients and responding / rectifying performance issues
  • Responsible for client program crisis prevention management and troubleshooting strategies
  • Ongoing evaluation of compliance and with client contracts and legislation
  • Contribute to processes, collaborate and contribute to organization's goals, vision and profitability
  • Responsible for long term vision of the debt recovery function and oversight of innovation and growth strategies
  • Support ongoing growth opportunities through prospective client presentations, meetings, data requests and analysis expertise
  • Oversee and direct client audit processes
  • Participate in RFP processes
  • Knowledge:
  • Experience leading a debt recovery/collections team
  • Extensive knowledge of the financial / collections industry
  • 7+ years in business development and/or business analytics and/or related field
  • Ability to lead business unit initiatives, including ongoing process improvement and integration of project or corporate initiatives with the ability to lead successful change
