Your daily role:

Within the Finance team and as Financial Analysis Manager - Supply Chain, your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Serve as the primary business partner to Nortera's Supply Chain department by analyzing actual spending versus budget and contributing to the preparation of the budget and forecast for capital and inventory spending;
  • Supervise and develop a senior financial analyst and provide oversight of the analysis and reporting of external purchasing, purchase price variances and key supplier performance;
  • Report monthly on internal and external warehousing costs and interplant freight;
  • Prepare financial results for monthly regional supply chain business reviews (Quebec, Ontario and United States) and participate in sessions as a business partner;
  • Review and analyze results on a monthly basis with the ability to identify trends and clearly and concisely communicate the main drivers and actions to be taken to achieve the company's key performance indicators;
  • Work in partnership with operational engineers to prepare investment budgets;
  • Analyze production costs to ensure that the planned return on investment has been achieved and incorporated into standard costs;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track key performance indicators associated with key projects;
  • Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvement and development;
  • Contribute to the standardization of practices across all factories;
  • Identify and highlight risks and opportunities related to major investment projects and warehousing expenditures;
  • Assist in carrying out necessary due diligence for M&A activities, implementation, transition, etc.
  • Provide a rapid response to the financial needs of the supply chain department management;
  • Identify and integrate ongoing projects to optimize warehousing costs (TMO, CapEx, new acquisitions);
  • Other ad hoc analyzes (e.g. internalization of key customer warehousing, acquisition...);
  • Ability to use data visualization tools such as Qlik to provide clear and easy to understand dashboards;
  • Participation in SIOP.

Your profile

At least 5 years of relevant experience in analysis; experience in the manufacturing field is an asset;:
