Job Summary
The Customer Service is responsible for liaising between our customers and our warehouse staff, utilizing communications, professional business conduct and the use of all of our customers' Warehouse Management Systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer telephone and direct customers as required
- Take care of signing in & out drivers at the window
- Process customer's orders, packing slips, bill of ladings, etc.
- Process inbound receiving documents
- Inventory control
- Process returns for customers
- Set up, manage and update customer accounts
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframe
- Produce delivery reports, production reports, and shipping reports
- Prepare draft procedure for ISO posting
- Prepare invoice worksheet for certain customers at end of month
- Complete production report for all customers quarterly
- Various other tasks as may be required
Qualifications
- 12 years' experience in a similar role
- Computer knowledge
- Lotus notes, AS400, Windows, Excel, Warehouse Management Systems (NEWS, REWARD)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational skills & strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Education/Certifications
- High School Diploma or greater
- WHMIS Training
- TDG Certificate is an asset
