Job Overview


The Manager, Digital Experience reporting to the Director, Digital Experience is responsible for supporting and enhancing Gateway's broad web site and social media portfolio.

This includes our main corporate and several regional brands online presence, as well as our evolving consumer-facing retail platforms.


This role will drive key digital convergence efforts to achieve efficiency and scale, support experimentation to inform optimization and strategy, and aid in key modernization initiatives to enhance client and consumer digital experience.

This includes exciting opportunities to showcase Gateway's industry-leading online innovation and help shape our growing direct-to-consumer online capabilities.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Craft strategy, manage, optimize, and evolve brand & corporate websites, social media, and retail platforms to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, user experience best practices, and support key business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including those in Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Sales, and Operations, as well as external agencies and vendors to prioritize and execute digital initiatives efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to gather insights and drive continuous innovation and improvement in digital experiences.
  • Conduct website SEO, Performance, Accessibility audits to identify areas for improvement & optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including website and social traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and customer feedback, to derive insights, measure success and inform decisionmaking.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to digital accessibility, data privacy, and security.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital experience design and ecommerce to recommend innovative solutions and strategies.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members to foster professional growth and development.

Education, Training & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience 4+ years in digital marketing, web management, or related roles, with a focus on digital experience optimization and ecommerce.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI) and proficiency in data analysis to drive insights and decisionmaking.
  • Expertise in UX/UI design principles, responsive web design, SEO, and digital accessibility best practices.

Skills & Abilities

  • Honed web and UX copywriting skills, specifically tailored to creating online content that resonates and aligns with a brand's online presence and marketing goals.
  • Understanding of web hosting, domain management, an asset.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinking, problemsolving mindset, biased to action, and a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences that delight customers.

Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May occasionally be exposed to elevated noise levels, such as from office equipment or when visiting a Care Center
  • Hybrid Working environment
