Jackman Eye Institute is looking for a full time
Refractive Technician in a busy office to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for our patients undergoing eye treatments.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct preoperative and postoperative measurements with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and providing clear, understandable explanations to patients at every stage of the process.
  • Thoroughly review imaging maps to validate their accuracy, contributing to the success of procedures.
  • Be a part of the surgical team to provide crucial support during refractive surgeries.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the latest procedures and technologies within the clinic, staying abreast of advancements in the field.
  • Uphold a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and patient care, fostering a positive and supportive environment throughout the patient journey.

What you will bring

  • Proficiency in English communication, facilitating clear and effective interaction in professional settings.
  • Demonstrate a keen motivation or knowledge in using a variety of diagnostic and testing tools.
  • Ability to use computer software for patient files and test results.
  • Prior experience in an eyecare environment is an asset.
