Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and highquality food preparation and service
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop menus and specials
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new kitchen staff
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role in a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of interviewing and hiring processes
  • Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus
  • Understanding of food industry trends and best practices
