Your Challenge- Perform all SMT Offline / Online set-up activities such as electronic feeder loading, stripping, scanning, etc.
and basic troubleshooting following ME/MES Support written procedures, guidelines and best practices or direct communication.- Perform SMT QC as required to help support the line.- Perform Tray counting or SMT Offline setup when Line is down.- Operate SMT placement equipment efficiently following a defined work schedule from the area Supervisor and following written procedures, guidelines and best practices and all Health & Safety guidelines.- Perform specific equipment preventative maintenance tasks as defined by procedures.- Support proper material handling and inventory control procedures and best practices and yield improvement projects.- Identify nonconforming products and take appropriate action.- Complete all logs, reports and other data as defined by the Supervisor or ME.- Responsible for all material handling duties, including lifting and managing daily supplies as required.- May contribute as a member of the Spill team and/or Health and Safety Committee.- Willing to support 3 shift rotations as required.
What You Bring:
- 5 years of manufacturing experience preferably with pick and place equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical Degree preferred. Demonstrated experience within a low volume high mix PWB assembly environment with preference given to direct experience operating and supporting SMT equipment and with an ability to minimize downtime and maximize output. Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond quickly and efficiently to changes in the build schedule is required. Good working knowledge of SAP and personal computers. Experience working with formal procedures and supporting documents. Excellent interpersonal, communication and team building skills are required. Good organizational skills. Able to lift normal consumable supplies associated with the processes and utilization of lifting apparatus to move heavy loads.
