Description

Join us as a Tooling Buyerand oversee the procurement of essential consumable products required for production.

You'll play a vital role in maintaining a seamless supply chain and ensuring efficient, cost-effective procurement that supports our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Compile and authorize purchase requests for production consumables;
Place orders with approved suppliers and meet internal customer delivery needs. Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable pricing.
Track purchase orders and shipments, resolving delivery issues promptly.
Maintain accurate ERP data, reflecting current prices, delivery dates, and quantities.
Cross-Department Collaboration to streamline procurement strategies.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with the company's purchasing policies and assist with other tasks as required.

Requirements:

Proven purchasing experience.
Familiarity with ERP systems (an asset).
Bilingual (English/French).

Qualifications

Minimum 2 to 3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing.
College diploma in Purchasing or Procurement.

The knowledge of the English language is required for the interpretation of instructions and technical requirements from the customer, which may be provided in English only.
