Inventory Control Manager - Mississauga, Canada - Think Logistics Inc.
Description
Position Details:
- Maintain and manage inventory levels with accuracy.
- Monitor KPI's and reports focusing on accuracy and integrity of inventory transactions.
- Generate daily inventory reports and share with required team members (inventory levels, aging inventory, nonexisting items, missing product labels, missing products, etc.).
- Investigate and escalate inventory discrepancies, adjust inventory records, determine root cause, and strive to continuously improve procedures and processes to improve quality and accuracy.
- Schedule, coordinate, and perform planned cycle counts in accordance with internal expectations and customer requirements.
- Coordinate control of damaged and defective products, and customer claims, ensuring any inventory changes are accounted for and properly processed to the expectations of the customer.
- Work closely with operations team to control inventory flow and placement to maximize efficiency.
- Create and maintain up to date inventory control procedures.
- Assist in training team members on inventory SOPs, where necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 24 years' experience in Logistics and Transportation, preferably from a 3PL environment.
- Basic WMS experience, excellent PC skills, including MS Access, Excel and Word.
- Extremely organized, capable of multitasking and remaining calm in stressful circumstances.
- Strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to work in a teambased environment and capable of working effectively with all levels within an organization.
- Ability to do basic counting and math.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to multitask with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility/accountability.
