  • Engage the SCRUM team to understand the sprint goals and prepare tests proactively.
  • Create and execute manual test suites, plans and cases to validate the business and stability of new releases.
  • Learn, adopt and establish standards with our Quality Assurance team.

Screening Criteria:


Education:


Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a recognized University or a Technical College diploma in Computer Science or related field.

An equivalent combination of education and direct experience may be considered.

Experience:


  • Ability to review, analyze and understand features, stories, and acceptance criteria;
  • Experience writing manual test suites, plans and cases from business requirements;
  • Experience executing manual test cases, raising defects, and tracking it to closure;
  • Experience with common QA activities such as defect management, smoke tests, regressions tests, feature tests, and similar. Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Ability to develop test suites, plans and cases using Microsoft Azure DevOps (or similar);
  • Ability to understand business requirements and adapt them to test cases;
  • Ability to describe, categorize, and prioritize defects;
  • Familiarity with software development processes such as Agile and SCRUM;
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively within a SCRUM team.

Competency Profile(s):


Relocation:

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.


Compensation:

From $58,632 to $75,385 per annum.


An incumbent occupying a position within the CS Group is currently entitled to receive a terminable allowance of $139 per month.
