Our expertise extends to all stages of an energy management project, planning, implementation, financing, and monitoring. ENS also provides solutions beyond building lighting and controls. These include, Smart City Solutions, EV Charger Deployments and LED Grow Lighting.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Perform project activities involved with bidding, evaluating, and committing Purchase Orders (POs) and PO administration including Preparation and maintenance of bidder's lists, issuing RFPs
- Negotiate to obtain preferred pricing, terms and conditions to the greatest extent possible
- Review bid tabulations for accuracy
- Prepare POs and executing PO commitments within delegated signing authority and obtains signatures that require higher authority
- Ensure project purchasing activities are consistent
- Direct negotiations to obtain preferred pricing, terms and conditions to the greatest extent possible
- Coordinate purchasing operations in control and support offices, and providing guidance to project jobsite personnel
- Monitor milestone status to ensure supplier engineering, fabrication and shipments are meeting the project schedule dates
- Ensure that changes, claims and disputes are satisfactorily resolved and required approvals are on file
- Ensure PO revisions & PO close outs are being processed in a timely manner
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Postsecondary education
- 3 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain experience
- 2 years of experience in purchasing of services and supplies
- Must have strong data analytics and project management experience
- Considerable knowledge of procurement methods and procedures
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Intermediate skills with
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- SCMP or equivalent designation preferred (or in progress obtaining) will be asset
- Exposure to the commodity markets and trends.
- Ability to influence and maintain a collaborative working relationship with key stakeholders
