COORDINATOR in

What you'll do as the DISPATCHER/CUSTOMS COORDINATOR:
- Day to day activities related and assigned to a dispatch role
- Computerized dispatch within TMW system
- Fleet Monitoring & workflow using Isaac software
- Ensure trucks are loaded according to customer requested weights and assigned to the proper destination
- Monitor wash schedules, schedule arrival and departure times
- Respond & provide solutions to both driver questions & concerns
- Ensure Clear communication with CSR's, Shop, Drivers, Terminal Supervisors, Payroll
- Ensure DOT & MTO requirements are met & complied with daily
- Assist with driver skills i
e:
Self-Loading, Customs, Hazmat, Hours of Service, Company Policy and Procedures, Regulations, etc.
- Assist with driver inquiries payroll, miles, etc.
- Communicate & problem solve with drivers
- Work with Western & Eastern terminals for fleet optimization
- ACE and ACI documents through Border Connect software
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bulk dispatch and tanker experience is an asset
- Good computer skills and software experience including TMW, Isaacs, Teams, Excel, Outlook, Customs software
- Great communication skills both verbally and written
- Works well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Effective at problem solving and multitasking
- Works well independently and with little supervision
- High attention to detail
- Previous dispatch work experience within a warehousing, logistics or transportation industry, an asset
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
- Geographical knowledge of North America
- Laptop & cell phone is provided
Hours:
- DAY Shift
- Monday
- Friday hours per week)
- On call weekend/weekday rotation with other dispatchers
