Full Time (36hrs/week), Permanent

As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.

Duties:


  • Assist with scale operation and general paperwork.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company Safety Manual and OH&S Regulations.
  • Operation of loader to load waste into trailers for transport and yard clearing.
  • Ensure Transfer Station delivers exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
  • Work with individuals both on site and in various locations to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • A variety of labour and light equipment operation duties, including grounds maintenance (mowing with various equipment, cleaning up windblown litter, shovelling snow, etc.). and cleaning of equipment and scale with highpressure wash.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Strong work ethic and ability to work carefully and efficiently independently.
  • Experience in the customer service profession is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn a variety of tasks.
  • Adequate computer skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Valid class 5 license with clean driver's abstract as well as own reliable transportation to and from Transfer Station.
