BACKGROUND
The Burlington Soccer Club (BSC), a not-for-profit organization, was established in 1962. Today, the Club
has approximately 10,500 youth and adult soccer players and is one of the largest soccer clubs in
Ontario. The BSC is home to the Burlington Bayhawks and is proud of its competitive team successes
over the years, which includes 44 provincial championships and 13 national championships. The Club
holds a Canadian National License, Ontario Provincial Development League (OPDL) License, and
League 1 Ontario (L1O) Franchise.
OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY
As part of the BSC Technical team and reporting to the League 1 women's Head. Coach, this position is
responsible for providing leadership and assisting the development of the Club's League 1 Reserve and
Premier team, including player development aligned with the Club's Vision and Mission. The position
assists in planning all aspects of the team's program, including its games, practices, off-field activities,
program/season planning, and curriculum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical _
- In alignment with OS Long-Term Player Development, plan, develop, and execute ageappropriate
- Travel with the team and attend all competitions
- Support scouting, identification, and selection of players into the L1 Women's teams
- Support the development of styles of play for BSC competitive teams
- Administration _
- Coordinate and administer the Club's policies
- Prepare player evaluations, game sheets, and roster requirements per league standards
- Customer Service & External Relations _
- Support the quality of the Club's services, ensuring maximum membership satisfaction.
- Participate in outside activities judged as appropriate and approved by Club management to
- Broaden the scope of the Club by fulfilling public obligations as a participating member of the

3390 South Service Road, Suite 104, Burlington ON L7N 3J- EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum National "C" License or equivalent
- Appropriate experience coaching players within the OPDL or L1 structure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in developing and working with an approved annual plan for training
- Must be authorized to work in Ontario
