Description

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining clean buildings, hallways, grounds, vacant suites on behalf of York Property Management. This position is part time and weekend availability is required.

Reporting to the Manager of Resident Experience and working with Maintenance Technicians and Head Office, the Cleaning Associate will oversee the cleanliness of assigned building(s).

The Cleaning Associate will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way, ensuring that all decisions and actions comply with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Clean building interior & units to make ready for occupancy
Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub and wax floors
Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
Empty waste containers
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Ensure washrooms clean
Scrub, wash, and wipe appliances, sinks, and tubs
Maintain Exterior
Water and tend to plants
Pick up any garbage around the property
Sidewalk salting and snow shoveling
Perform other related duties as required
Maintain log of tasks completed
Deliver forms, notices and letters to tenants while ensuring accuracy

The incumbent must possess the following experience:

1 year of Professional Cleaning Experience preferred
