Position Title:
Elevator Operator


Location:
Esterhazy, Mosaic K1


Start Date:
Mid September


Reporting to the Supervisor - laborer to be available to run the elevator during assigned times, the laborer is responsible for providing physical labor support during all phases of the project.

The laborer provides a broad range of support which includes, but not limited to:

  • Working with heights
  • Install, test and adjust safety control devices
  • Carry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure public safety
  • Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed
  • Meet physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Adhere to all of company's safety protocols
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Cleaning equipment

Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in an industrial setting
  • Ability to work day and night shifts
  • Fall protection would be an asset willing to train
  • Safety FIRST Mentality
  • Ability to listen and take direction with positive, cando attitude
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Must possess basic English verbal/written
  • Able to work as part of a team, and individually when required
  • Attention to detail
