You're a journalistic driving force, pitching segments and booking guests with the team to capture the news concerns of the day and reflect the range of opinion, lived experiences, and interests in contemporary Canada.

You have a deep understanding of news and current affairs in Canada, the U.S. and abroad. You relish the opportunity to write, craft, and shape the programming. All work is governed by an understanding of Journalistic Standards and Practices, and CBC programming policies.

As an ambassador of the program and of public broadcasting, you embrace the host's public role in the community through outreach and events.

As a leader, you're a mentor, a coach and a collaborator.

You work in partnership with the senior and executive producers to create dynamic coverage and bring the best out of the team daily.
