ABOUT THE ROLE:


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Support all key financial processes (Budget, Official reforecasts (R1/R2) with the objective to build a compelling plan that meets expectations. Ensure ongoing forecasts incorporate trends and relevant information
  • Prepare analysis and reporting for different target audiences that include both financial and nonfinancial content
  • Support the monthly close process including preparation of variance reports and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
  • Partner with key collaborators crossfunctionally and crossborder, to tackle problems, ensure successful financial performance, challenge the status quo, and appropriately communicate risks
  • Acquire and maintain detailed understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks and profitability opportunities
  • Provide ad hoc support and analysis, inclusive of strategic findings and recommendations, to Finance and Retail Operations organization to drive decision making for the leadership team
  • Develop and implement improvements to business processes and tools

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Minimum 5 years of related FP&A or financial reporting experience; Retail or CPG industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is highly preferred
  • Advanced expertise Excel and Financial Systems
  • A master communicator at all levels of the organization, with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Proven experience in supporting a full budget cycle from establishing of targets/goals to socialization to business partners
  • Proven experience/knowledge of key areas of a Retail P&L such as gross margin, store expenses (controllable & noncontrollable), etc.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional prioritization and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated success in critical thinking and decision making; understanding when to seek assistance/guidance
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, and relish in working collaboratively with crossfunctional groups
  • Strong modelling skills and high degree of comfort with financial systems, preferably SAP Business Objects
