Purpose
Responsible for executing Global Payroll solutions expansion initiatives and managing their day-to-day aspects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, analyzes project-related data and ensures adherence to standards and controls.
Supports the initiatives by engaging with a wide range of HR related areas that would impact the outcomes while also ensuring that the solutions implemented in those areas are aligned to Global Payroll solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Executes projects of global expansion initiatives (Global HR Transformation), collaborating with regional stakeholders to ensure global payroll standards, controls and compliance.
- Manages daytoday project tasks, analyzing existing policies, and identifying enhancement opportunities.
- During the execution of global payroll projects, collaborates with Senior Manager, Global Payroll Projects to evaluate and analyze existing global payroll policies, requirements, procedures and processes to identify improvement/enhancement opportunities and implement solutions to address them.
- Coordinates with thirdparty vendors, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assists in the development of projectspecific reports and identifies gaps in procedures and services. Also, acts as a point of contact for projectrelated issues.
- Ensures a positive outcome of the initiatives involved by being a Subject Matter Expert on Global Payroll Solutions.
- Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the global payroll projects, regularly evaluating and implementing streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stablishes and maintains effective communication channels with key stakeholders, including Payroll Operations, IT&S/HR Services Ops, Change Management, Project Management, COE and Total Rewards.
Experience / Education:
- Postsecondary Degree in Accounting or Business or related field
- PCP or CPM designation required
- SAP HCM certification preferred
- Signification experience in payroll or related field
- Previous technical and operating experience with SAP and, WFS and Success Factors preferred
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of Organizational structure and complexity
- Deep knowledge of payroll policies and related practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to thrive on tight deadlines and sudden change of direction
- Spanish is an asset
