The People eXperience & Tech organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization.

We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our People Engagement team in Vancouver, BC. This role requires working from our YVR20 office at least 3 days a week.


People Engagement is focused on building products to connect Amazonians with the information, resources, and insights they need through best-in-class solutions fueled by data and science.

As part of People eXperience & Technology, we are a tech organization at our core; we deliver products that are used by all Amazonians such as an employee directory, feedback collection tool, learning & development experiences, and manager to employee engagement experiences, just to name a few.

In this role you'll be supporting the Director of Corporate Content and the Director of Amazon Learn.

The Amazon Corporate Content team enables Amazon employees to easily find and access content through a personalized search experience, and manage their HR documents throughout their employment lifecycle.

Their solutions streamline HR processes, empowering HR partner teams and administrators to eliminate manual work, scale their operations, and provide a seamless and efficient document and content management experience.

The Amazon Learn team is building a next-generation Learning Management System (LMS) that will transform learning at Amazon. The team is focused on delivering a personalized, engaging, and efficient learning experience for all Amazonians.

Key job responsibilities

  • Responsible for the complex calendar management of two Executives; scheduling with diplomacy, discretion, and haste.
  • Identifying key milestones for projects and events, then working backwards from those deadlines to ensure team deliverables are met.
  • Creating and enforcing mechanisms that will scale, optimizing efficiency around everyday tasks, while continually auditing current administrative mechanisms for relevance.
  • Arranging complex domestic and international travel including detailed travel itineraries and thoughtful planning.
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team and organizational activities including meetings, socials, and largescale events.

3 days/week in-office requirement.

  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with domestic and international travel coordination
