    Amazon is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, to provide business insights and develop metrics that contribute to business growth.

    Responsible for data modeling, QuickSight migration, ad-hoc reporting, and long-term analytical projects to support customer and business insights.


    The ideal candidate will have significant experience in developing metrics and business analytics, possess the ability to adopt new approaches and methodologies, and a solid grasp of Data Warehouse (DW) concepts while navigating through uncertainties.

    Strong business acumen and communication skills are essential to formulate key business questions and create data sets that address those questions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create user-friendly data access for non-technical users
    • Identify and streamline redundant processes
    • Manage requests from the field to enhance reporting options and operational support
    • Optimize existing reports and develop new ones
    • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical requests for tech teams
    • Independently drive outcomes, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively
    • Understand data flow in financial platforms and establish data accuracy for field operations
    • Demonstrate initiative in delivering results on challenging projects
    • Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
    • Contribute to team development and mentorship
    • Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in finance or related analytical field
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • 4+ years in continuous improvement projects focusing on controllership
    • MBA or CPA qualification
    • Proficiency in data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, etc.
    • Experience with financial systems like Oracle, SAP, etc.
    • Skilled in creating process improvements through automation
    • Advanced SQL proficiency for data mining and business intelligence
    • Expertise in QuickSight for reporting solutions
