***: As the Junior Photographer you are responsible for capturing on model and off model garment images and assisting the Creative department with photo processing, retouching, studio organization and other related creative projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES

:


  • Photograph on and off model garment images to be included in various digital media platforms, including but not limited to the Oak + Fort website, social media uploads, seasonal campaigns and e
- newsletters for all lines of business.

  • Collaborate with the Creative team and E-Commerce team to deliver consistent, high quality and on brand product photography.
  • Own in preparing review documents with top selected imagery for approval.
  • Support in offloading iPhone images for social/lifestyle content.
  • Retouch necessary images within the required deadlines and follow retouching guidelines.
  • Provide suggestions to continuously improve and optimize our website landing pages and other initiatives for end users;
  • Organize assets as needed and work with the creative team in optimizing organization of assets.
  • Navigate the product drop schedule and marketing calendars to lead the shooting of product flats according to timelines.
  • Work with the Creative team in maintaining studio cleanliness, organization and maintain studio equipment.
  • Work directly with the apparel, ensuring garments are always catalogued and tightly cared for.
  • Assist the Creative Team in prepping for each shoot including set up and take down of all equipment, apparel and props.
  • Create mood boards that communicate concept prior to shoot—lighting tests, casting documents, and creative concepts.
  • Creative flat shooting for all categories.
  • Support the postproduction processing of images shot internationally by external team.
  • Be the communicator between stylist, production team and product team providing documentation of skus at all times.
  • Possibility of video editing asset but not required.
  • Perform other creative projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of work experience in photography and retouching or a similar capacity.
  • Experience and good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom and Capture One.
  • Good understanding of Canon, Sony, Profoto, Hensel and other photography equipment.
  • Experience working in the fashion industry is an asset.
  • Experience in video editing is an asset.
  • Experience and good understanding of photoediting, photo processing, organization and optimizing imagery for web and social platforms.
  • Resultsoriented and process driven.
  • Proven ability to work with a crossfunctional team and collaborate. Ability to work collaboratively with the Creative team and always working together in striving to improve the assets, creative flow and organization of assets.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fastpaced environment. Ability to meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to process images in an organized and efficient manner and always optimizing for better organization within the team.
  • Familiar with E-Commerce platforms and necessary formatting for ecommerce imagery optimization.
  • Ability to understand and take direction from the lead photographer and Art/Creative Director.
  • Avid learner with the ability to be entrepreneurial and take initiative.
