Department Overview

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Workforce Identity and Access Management, Enterprise Protect. You will establish, maintain and execute the access management strategy for TD's workforce. You will manage a group of Product Group Owners who support delivery and prioritization of the WIAM roadmap.

This role provides diverse exposure to technology and business groups across the organization where you will partner to align on business and risk priorities.

The position requires a highly organized individual who is an effective communicator and is able to translate identified risks into an implementable strategy.

This role provides decision support and insight to senior leaders as well direct interface with regulators.

Job Details

  • Develop and manage the WIAM strategy grounded in threat mitigation using a riskbased approach
  • Maintain a WIAM risk register which provides an end to end assessment of threats to residual risk determination for all IAM sub domains (Privileged Access, IAM Lifecycle. Cloud, Directories, etc)
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and the ability to transform the WIAM program by proactively assessing firm wide access risks and defining a best in class strategy grounded in risk and zero trust architecture
  • Assume business ownership of platforms associated with Identity and Access mgmt.
  • Enable the business by designing access models which balance business needs and protecting the bank.
  • Ensure effective access controls are implemented based on risk prioritization
  • Set mandates for Identity Assurance (standards and policies)
  • Design quality control, assurance and risk mgmt objectives, and support requirements for associated state of health reporting.
  • Emerging technologies guide TD toward best in class zero trust architecture
  • Lead regulatory engagements demonstrating the ability to measure and manage risk
  • Manage SOX compliance for access controls
  • Work within Enterprise Protect to ensure the processes, governance and operational model for Identity and Access mgmt are aligned to both the Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Mgmt programs.
  • Partner with all lines of defense to ensure access controls are appropriately designed, operationally effective, and tested
  • Ensure new technology deployments align to access management standards, and is integrated with ID management life cycle (via BISO partnerships)
Job Requirements

  • 10+ years demonstrating management of enterprise solutions and business transformation
  • IAM leadership experience preferably in financial services
  • Strategic Thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of strategic and business planning processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong relationship management skills to manage internal and external relationships
  • Strong written and oral communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
