Service Manager You will play a crucial role in directing the team of associates who facilitate the completion of work required to service our clients and reunite them with their vehicles. Leveraging your extensive leadership skills and knowledge of Parts, Service, and customer service excellence, you will be accountable for the Service Department's annual financial performance goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversees team members performing vehicle inspections, preparing reports and when required, carries out these job duties.
- Effectively organizes and manages team members, including technicians and advisors, to ensure team objectives and service goals are achieved.
- Own creating an exceptional customer service experience by maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by delivering quality service, recommending additional products and services and by addressing any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
- Resolve service desk problems and improve current service desk operations to increase productivity and enable amazing customer service.
- Monitor department operations and client concerns to define patterns and work to improve efficiency.
- Regularly audit work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and that repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
- Control department budgets and other expenses.
- Mentor, coach, train and support the development of apprentices in the dealership.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Completion of a related postsecondary program and or training courses would be valuable.
- Multiple years of experience in an automotive dealership Service Department and/or Parts Department or related automotive industry considered an asset
- Possessing a provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate would be an asset but is not required.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
- Ability to train, coach, direct and encourage technicians, advisors and shop foreman.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
