About Petrichor Social

Petrichor Social is a new restaurant serving a casual but elevated French/Mediterranean food located at 216 Abbott street in Gastown.

We take pride of serving homemade food, creation cocktails as well a local wines and beer.

Petrichor Social is a restaurant were people can enjoy quality food and drinks, with a quality service in a gorgeous ''out of town'' setting restaurant.

We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to add to our team. This individual will play a key role in the front of house team.

Jobs and responsibilities include

Greeting guests upon arrival, or by phone
Create a high quality, yet approachable, service to the customer
Strong customer service skills.
Strong bartending skills.
Able to create new cocktails
Able to make classic cocktails that are not on the menu
Solid ordering/serving skills
Solid understanding of POS, cash balancing, and inventory systems.
Multitasking, organizing, cleaning, restocking.
Maintain the restaurant cleanliness standards, be willing to help out where needed with a positive attitude. Willing to take direction from the manger, but also a selfstarter who sees a problem and fixes it before being asked to.

Required qualifications

Serving It Right.
Weekend availability including stat holidays throughout the season.
Serving experience required.
Wine and liquor knowledge
At least 2 years of experience in a high standard bar
Must be at least 19 years of age
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be able to work outside and stand for extended periods of time (6 to 8 hours) if needed

This person is friendly, polite, calm nature that enjoys working in a fastpaced environment.
Provide excellence in guest services at all times.
Responsible and committed.
A love for people, nature, food, cocktails, wines and beer
