Inc.is a fast paced, growing Aero-structures manufacturer located in Fort Erie.


We are a build to print facility with a 500,000 sq ft facility, manufacturing sheet-metal, machined and composite parts and assemblies for several major aerospace OEMs.


Fleet is in the midst of a modernization transition and is looking for bright and talented individuals who want to lead and grow with a dynamic and evolving organization.

Primary responsibilities for the Manufacturing Manager (reporting directly to the plant manager):

  • Responsible for the smooth operations for planning, organizing and controlling of all production-related activities within perimeter of responsibility.
  • Develop departmental goals with the Plant manager.
  • Responsible for the performance of the team(s) within perimeter of responsibility with regards to Quality, Delivery and Cost goals.
  • Cultivate a culture of safety, operational excellence, and constant continuous improvement
  • Build people capabilities through coaching and training sessions; provide feedback that focuses on accountability, development and excellence in the workplace.
  • Ensure operations adhere to operating procedures, quality and safety requirements from company, industry and customer standards.
  • Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solving problems in a timely manner and to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Ensure the necessary resources to meet quality and delivery requirements of jobs are made available as required
  • Initiate, Lead, Monitor, report, develop and implement improvement programs such as ontime delivery, productivity, manufacturing cost/expenses, inventory, safety performance, 5S housekeeping, customer feedbacks and overtime expenses.
  • Work with various departments to improve process, performance and management efficiency to achieve business goals.
  • Formulate and lead Continuous Improvement projects from Identified opportunities from Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SPQDC).
  • Manage employee morale and improve retention.
  • Lead and groom internal succession pipeline.
  • Enforce discipline in the team
