Schedule:
_Full-Time 12 Month Contract_

Mondays 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Tuesdays 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Wednesdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
Prepare and load items for sterilization, following established procedures and guidelines.
Monitor sterilization cycles to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sterilization equipment.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including cycle logs and maintenance records. Sterilwize system digital.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized items.
Adhere to IPAC regulations infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. IPAC course can be provided by clinic to receive certification.

Experience:

Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role is required
HARP certification required
Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and procedures
Familiarity with infection control protocols and regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
