Schedule:
_Full-Time 12 Month Contract_

  • Mondays 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Tuesdays 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Wednesdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Thursdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:


  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Prepare and load items for sterilization, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor sterilization cycles to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sterilization equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including cycle logs and maintenance records. Sterilwize system digital.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized items.
  • Adhere to IPAC regulations infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. IPAC course can be provided by clinic to receive certification.

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role is required
  • HARP certification required
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
