Battlefield Equipment Rentals
(a division of Toromont Industries Ltd
.), one of Canada's premiere Construction Rental Companies, has an immediate requirement for a Shipper/Receiver
in our Winnipeg** location.

Our
Winnipeg **branch is a busy, team-oriented facility within Battlefield Equipment Rentals that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The Shipping and Receiving position is an important one for our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.

Our technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships, and we are looking to fill a Shipping and Receiving position in Winnipeg to help us with these challenges:

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the shipping and receiving operations of the branch;
Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and submitted;
Responsible for yard, shop, & warehouse organization and cleanliness;
Assist customers picking up and returning product;
Load and unload suppliers;
Assist with fleet drivers and outside carriers;
Perform other duties as assigned;

Key Qualifications

The ability to provide various shipping and receiving duties in a busy, potentially stressful environment;
Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, with handson experience in minor repairs and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;
Excellent paperwork and organizational skills, with an affinity for process management;
Ability to work independently when required;
Willingness to adapt to possible overtime hours;
Good communication and people skills;

Additional Qualifications

Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;
