Qualification:

To succeed as a Junior Project Manager you must have:

5-10 years of experience in a similar role;
Experience in environmental, remediation/decontamination or civil engineering work;
Able to work under pressure;
Team player with strong leadership skills;
Fluent in English (oral and written);
Ability to speak French would be considered an asset;
Flexibility to travel to worksites across Canada;
This position could be filled from anywhere in Canada, as the role is for jobsites across the country. Ideally close to one of our offices in Edmonton, AB or Brossard, QC.

Responsabilités:

What your days look like as a Site Supertendant:

Manage and direct operations on worksites;
Manage onsite personnel, including employees and subcontractors;
Manage and lead by example all aspects of environment, health and safety on construction sites (complete H&S forms, signage, shoring, site inspections, etc.) and reporting to head office;
Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers involved in the work;
Monitor contract administration and project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager;
Work as a team with the Project Manager regarding logistics, material shipment, purchase orders processing and consolidation of EHS paperwork;
Ensure the scope of work is met in accordance with specifications and applicable regulations;
Maintain a clean and organized worksite (including keeping tidy, ensuring all workers have appropriate equipment/materials, etc.);
Ensure site documentation is documented and kept organized;
Communicate on a regular basis with project managers
