Description

The
Shop Service Technician performs a variety of tasks related to the electronic, electrical, and hydraulic gauge equipment such as manufacturing, servicing, cleaning, upgrading, retrofitting, modifying, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repairing.


Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Cleaning and management of assigned tools, and shop area.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Communicate with the Field Service Supervisor regularly, on all aspects of service.
  • Complete reporting, shipping, job and billing paper work.
  • Interaction with customers to resolve challenges and questions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements _
(Minimum Education and Experience)_**:

  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Hydraulic gauge knowledge and service experience an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience in oil field equipment an asset.
  • Inventory control experience an asset.
  • Good Communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Bachelor degree, Technical diploma or equivalent in Instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of proper use of lathe, milling, welding machines and pressure pumps.
