Department description - Technology Transfer:
- Transfer expertise from research and development batches to the final manufacture of the Drug product.
- Supports readiness ensuring all tasks and documentation requirements are completed to enable the manufacture of the Drug product.
- Subject Matter Experts for manufacturing processes and workflows required for every product batch.
Role:
- Contributes to business success by working with the technical team to align the projects with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)/site requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement:_
- Support Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR) simplification by reviewing MBR modules to identify any information that can be moved/transformed into Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's)
- Work with relevant areas to understand the process and create revisions for SOP's.
- Actively propose new improvement initiatives and strategies to achieve them.
- Equipment qualification:_
- Create the qualification strategy for equipment on site (Temperature sensors, water baths, premix station, among others), write and get approval for the qualification protocol.
- Execute the qualification strategy.
- Write and get approval for the qualification report
- Train personnel in equipment operation.
- Requires occasional/frequent travel between the two buildings that are 750 meters apart
REQUIREMENTS:
- Area: Third year student of Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or life Sciences.
- Software skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
