Our project season is ramping up and we are looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our team on our civil earthworks project near Spruce Grove; Alberta

Role and Responsibilities

Must be able to prep subgrade for gravel within 20mm and place and finish gravel within 10mm

Wage to reflect for a true finisher
Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner, responsible and accountable for minor maintenance and daily inspections

Strong understanding and experience with road crowns and crossfalls.

Finish operator; ability to complete work with mínimal supervision and perform final grade

Ability to work off of survey layout (grade stakes)

Placing and finishing import clay for subgrade preperations

Competent in placing and finishing road crush within 10-15mm

Perform other related duties as required

Wage to reflect for a true finisher
Must have minimum 3-5 seasons of grader experience in road construction / ponds / berms / land development. Demonstrate the ability to finish and work in congested areas / around other contractors
Gradesman experience is considered an asset
Must have valid CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance 201 and CSA approved 6" steel toe work boots
Hard working, with a positive attitude; reliable
Ability to meet deadlines
Personal vehicle and valid driver's license required; clean abstract
