Job Summary
We are currently looking for a
part-time Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Full cycle bookkeeping;
Accounts Receivable;
Accounts Payable;
Preparation of yearend documents for Accountant;
Semimonthly payroll for 4045 employees;
Monthly financial statements;
Monthly account reconciliations;
Monthly invoicing for projects;
Preparation and filing of GST, Corporate Tax, EHT, and WCB;
Cash flow management;
Budget tracking;
Bookkeeping and management for separate holding companies.

Qualifications and skills
In order to thrive in this role, you will need to possess the following:

A certificate/diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping;
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a small to medium size company;
Proficiency in Quickbooks;
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Highly organized with excellent time management skills;
Ability to keep track of, prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively;
Previous experience with an engineering firm is not necessary, but experience within the construction industry would be considered an asset.

The existing position is 3 days per week or more, depending on workload, but flexible hours are available for the right person.
