Job Summary
We are currently looking for a
part-time Bookkeeper to join our growing team.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Full cycle bookkeeping;
  • Accounts Receivable;
  • Accounts Payable;
  • Preparation of yearend documents for Accountant;
  • Semimonthly payroll for 4045 employees;
  • Monthly financial statements;
  • Monthly account reconciliations;
  • Monthly invoicing for projects;
  • Preparation and filing of GST, Corporate Tax, EHT, and WCB;
  • Cash flow management;
  • Budget tracking;
  • Bookkeeping and management for separate holding companies.

Qualifications and skills
In order to thrive in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • A certificate/diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping;
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a small to medium size company;
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks;
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to keep track of, prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively;
  • Previous experience with an engineering firm is not necessary, but experience within the construction industry would be considered an asset.

The existing position is 3 days per week or more, depending on workload, but flexible hours are available for the right person.
