Typical Duties

Meeting with managers to establish recruiting requirements;
Determine applicant qualifications by screening/interviewing applicants;
Create, post and monitor job ads;
Prepare HR documentation including employment contracts and job offers;
Perform reference checks as needed;
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Higher education in a discipline related to Human Resources or Recruitment (i.e. human resource management, business administration etc.);
At least two years recruitment/staffing experience, particularly for IT or engineering positions;
Must be reliable and able to work independently; be selfmotivated; and make sound decisions with little supervision;
Strong organizational skills required;
Experience with staffing/recruitment for Government of Canada programs such as Task Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) is an asset;
Projectbased experience would be an asset;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in French and English would be an asset.
