We are looking for an
Innovation & Development Specialist to join our Innovation and Development team
Our Innovation and Development Specialist is responsible for Earth's Own Innovation, Product Improvement, and
Cost Saving.
We are looking for someone who has the passion and skill to be part of an exciting and progressive company and team.
OPPORTUNITIES
This is a very exciting time for the Innovation and Development team as we continue to grow and expand The main challenge is to liaise with Marketing, Operation, and Sales to develop new products (from idea generation to product launch) and improve existing products based on input from customers and consumers.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You have strong knowledge of the structure, chemistry, and microbiology of food and standard food production processes
- You have deep knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of Organic, Non-GMO & Kosher certification standards and requirements
- You have expert knowledge of Food labeling and other required regulations
EXPERIENCE
- You have a Minimum BSc in Food Science or a related field
- You have at least 3 years of experience in product development in the dairy and/or related food industry
- You have strong industrial research and analytical skills
NICE-TO-HAVE
- You have strong industrial and research and analytical skills
- Strong ability to plan, develop and implement teambased systems
THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Manage progression through milestones and execution of product development projects through designing experimental framework, building/ reviewing analytical data, developing validation SOPs and product specifications, and identifying potential challenges to management.
- Deliver costeffective product formulations that are regulatory compliant and aligned with company values.
- Research, and collaborate with external research institutes or suppliers to deepen knowledge in plantbased fields; investigate new ingredients and technology.
- Lead sensory evaluation and shelflife study to support product launches and consistency.
- Work closely with QA and Operations teams to ensure the success of trials, product launches, and troubleshooting when necessary.
