Couple/family Psychotherapist Position - Mississauga, Canada - Healing Roots Therapy

Healing Roots Therapy is looking for practitioners (Associate Therapists/Contractor) who are able to provide in-person services (at our Mississauga location off of the 403 & Hurontario) week day evenings and/or weekends.

Interested practitioners are able to practice the act of psychotherapy in Ontario (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW or CPO).

We are flexible and have both part-time clients a week) and full-time clients a week) positions.

We are looking for individuals who are available to support our clients 2 evenings a week (Fridays 1pm-8:30pm), and weekends (Saturdays 9am-4pm and/or Sundays 9am-3pm). We are looking for registered practitioners that can support
couples, and families.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters in Counselling/Masters in Social Work or related field.
• Registered with the CRPO, ORSWRSSW, CPO
• At least 1 years of experience practicing the act of psychotherapy and supporting couples and families.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support 1215 clients weekly or more for Inperson services (Individuals, Couples and Families).
• Conduct an initial intake with the proposed client, as needed, and assist with client scheduling;
• Prepare and ensure accurate, thorough and timely recording of all client information and documentation, including but not limited to: session activity notes, reports, correspondence of consented third parties, legal forms and doctor's letters, while ensuring all information is upto

- date and continually documented;

• Prepare, develop and deliver personalized treatment plans for clients;
• Coordinate service requirements on a per client basis;
• Properly record and document the applicable payment credentials and method in client files, on a per session basis.
• Meet with an external supervisor to ensure ethical practice and care for client care.

• Do you take an anti-oppressive/Systemic approach to therapy?
• Are you an RP, RP (Qualifying), RSW/MSW or C.Psyc?
• Are you currently under supervision?
• Are you able to offer individual, couple, and family therapy? If not, which of the three are you able to offer?
• Are you able to support clients in-person Thursday and Friday evenings and one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday?
• Are you able to support 12-15 clients or more per week, in person?
• Can you work 3 shifts a week?
• Are you currently working at another centre, agency or private practice?
• Do you have your own private practice?
• Can you provide two professional references?

$85.00-$100.00 per hour
