We are part of Wealth Shared Services and collectively, we partner with TD Direct Investing, TD Wealth Financial Planning, TD Wealth Private Wealth Management and TD Asset Management to enrich the lives of our colleagues, clients and our community.
The Wealth Communications and Intranet team is responsible for the development and execution of communication strategies and tactical plans for Wealth-wide programs and projects, including changes/events impacting employee and client experience and the organization.
Job Description:
- Projects would include client initiatives, change management projects, and/or employee programs on behalf of Wealth businesses, and would require skills to build client communications, executive communications, colleague communications, event communications, etc.
- Participate in project scoping and planning sessions, proactively providing partners with communicationsrelated advice and expertise on recommended tactics and solutions
- Often work in partnership with other members of the Communications mix—including Creative, Video and Intranet/digital teams—to develop communications assets in various formats
- Maintain appropriate project records, approvals, databases and information; report to management, auditors and others on project status and updates, as required
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across business lines, with control groups and partners across Wealth Shared Services and TD broadly. This includes working in crossfunctional teams to support business objectives and creation of key messages and help build these into businessspecific content for employee communications
- Keep current on emerging communication trends/developments
Required Skillsets:
- Experienced in corporate communications with a proven track record of strong written and oral communication
- Ability and openness to learn, be a selfstarter and be comfortable working independently in ambiguity
- Solid analytical, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with a proven ability to identify concerns, gauge gaps and recommend solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in a communications environment, preferably in the financial or investment industry
- Postsecondary/university degree in a businessrelated discipline
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
