Acting K-12 Science and Fine Arts Coordinator

DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will be responsible for K-12 Science and Fine Arts for the Anglophone East School District, under the direction of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

As a collaborative team in curriculum and instruction, coordinators contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of the District Improvement Plan.

They also support members of the senior administration team with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A valid New Brunswick Teacher's Certificate VI and master's degree.
A minimum of five years successful teaching experience in the public school system.
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies to perform the required tasks in the specified curriculum areas.
Evidence of leadership.
Effective communication skills.
Administrative/supervisory experience is an asset.
