- Provide exceptional service to prospective & active clients
- Provide in person, telephone & email consultations for prospective clients
- Schedule client files
- Client representation in court
- Correspond with the courts, agents, clients & co-workers
- Ensure confidentiality of all corporate & client information
- Review and draft legal documents
- Maintain general correspondence via telephone, email & fax inquires
- Request required documentation from the courts
- Request, receive & review disclosures
- Conduct legal research
- Conduct reconciliation & bank deposits of daily sales
- Verify agent invoices
- Comply with all corporate policies & procedures
- Assist with other clerical duties such as: data entry, archiving & maintaining company records
- Must possess a valid Paralegal License
- Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA & Criminal Code of Canada
- Must have the ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have good time management skills & pay close attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing paralegal handling all facets of POA and HTA matters, including court attendance (required)
