3 Airport Operations Coordinators to our Team, who will be responsible for supporting the performance of day-to-day Airport operations and provides all-around customer service to passengers, visitors, and tenants through the Operations

Your role as an Airport Operations Coordinator:
Regulatory Compliance:
Responsible for all aspects of safety, security, and IROPs of activities within the Air Terminal
Building and responsible for monitoring compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Canadian Aviation Security
Regulations (CASRs), and tenant security responsibilities
Customer Service:
Support the day-to-day airport operation by providing stakeholder support to tenants, passengers, and visitors to ensure questions, concerns, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Noise Management Program:
Implement the Noise Management Plan as directed by the Manager, Operations Centre, receive, investigate, and respond to noise inquiries as per the Noise Management Plan
Flight Schedules:
Maintain all flights schedules by consolidating all flight data provided by carriers into a standardized format and assign gating and counters for the operations
Crisis Management:
Manage emergency situations and IRROPs, activate and manage the Emergency Operations Centre as required and adhere to proper emergency call-out procedures
Supervision:
Supervising performance expectations of assigned shift personnel by understanding daily tasks, monitor work activities, ensuring safety regulations are adhered to under the CLC Part II and Hamilton International Airport policies
Administration:
Prepare detailed reports of daily operations, program updates, unusual incidents / accidents, hazardous conditions, and inspections and performs call outs for overtime as required and\ governed by the Collective Agreement

assess situations quickly, be resourceful, problem-solve, and make logical decisions
Your success factors:
Post-secondary education with a Certificate or Diploma in Aviation Management, or relevant airport experience
Minimum - 3 years' experience in airport operations, airline operations, or other related fields of airport management
Knowledge and understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and Canadian Aviation Security Regulations (CASRs) is an asset
Conditions of employment
- Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Provide proof of full COVID19 vaccination (or proof of medical or religious exemptions)
- Obtain Airport Security Clearance
- Obtain an Aeronautical Radio License
- Obtain an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)
