Description

Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities:


  • Monthly reconciliation of expenses and accounts
  • Staying informed about company products and prices
  • Data entry incoming shipments and expenses, credit and return follow up
  • Use the company's software to enter inventory data and process payments
  • Use of QuickBooks for maintenance and other expenses
  • Keeping track of monthly, weekly, and C.O.D payments
  • Organize files, follow up on credit for returns
  • Working with managerial staff to ensure excellent communication on inventory and payments
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness, and keep files organized
  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:


  • Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
  • Proven accounts payable experience
  • Excellent understanding of accounts receivable procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Comfortable working with financial data in a realtime environment
  • Analytical and multitasking abilities
  • Exemplary customer service attitude
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • BA/BS degree preferred
