Description
The Consultant, Field Operations & Training will be involved in:

  • Working along side the Associate Manager Field Operations and Training with supporting the National Field Team of District Sales Managers, Retail Execution Managers, Field Operations Managers, with all Store Operations including Logistics, Warehouse Management, eCommerce, and Operational Excellences
  • Building strong cross functional relationships with other Corporate Teams, to help support operational programs and efficiencies.
  • Delivery of training sessions and communication to Field Operations Team to ensure the highest level of execution and accountability.
  • Working with the Associate Manager Field Operations and Training on T&E expense management and executive reporting
  • Working cross functionally with the Best Practice and Retail Ops teams on upcoming program initiatives to develop content for training of the Field Operations Teams.

What you'll do

  • Creation and development of new training material including videos, presentations and documentation to support Field Operations Team training goals
  • Updating and maintenance of tools, documentation and training materials required for the field team to successfully impact positive change
  • Delivering training sessions/clinics for Field Operations Team in a variety of channels, virtual and in person
  • Supporting communications and training of supported programs to the Field Operations Team through Weekly Field Operations Team calls, in person team meetings, workshops, team SharePoint site, and conference calls
  • Managing regular weekly/monthly/yearly reporting of Field Operations Team T&E expenses, including executive reporting
  • Tracking KPIs and measuring against established benchmarks to measure program progress/sustainment
  • Manage Training Team mailbox to support Field Operations Team Q&As and issue resolution.
  • Maintain Field Operations Team SharePoint and Team documents including Training Templates.
  • Support the Field Operations Team with communications and presentations for regional Dealer meetings and GM meetings
  • Establish strong relationships with the Field Operations Managers and other cross functional teams
  • Travel is required across Canada for this role

What you bring

  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field with preference for 3 years experience in organizational effectiveness/adult learning
  • Undergraduate degree and preference for post graduate degree in any of the following areas: Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Adult Learning or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Strong knowledge in logistics, warehouse management, eCommerce, and general retail operations
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in several of the following areas: workforce planning, change management, team effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies and initiatives that achieve financial performance and operational targets
  • Strong influencing, consulting skills and collaboration skills required to build key relationships, promote new ideas and achieve buyin
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure, change and ambiguity
  • Proven ability to strive for continuous improvement through constantly challenging the status quo
  • Fluent with MS Office products, PowerPoint, and other similar programs
  • Valid Canadian driver's license and personal vehicle
