Summary

Note:This is an Initiatives/Opportunities full-time position ending July 31, 2025 with the possibility of an extension up to a maximum of 24 months

Duties:

Within defined portfolios while under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Payroll, and as part of a team, the incumbent administers accurate and timely payroll and benefit-related services in accordance with legislation, collective agreements, policies and established practices and procedures in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Postsecondary 2year diploma or equivalent in Business, Finance or Human Resources
Minimum 3 years' recent and practical experience in a payroll environment
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
PCP certification with the National Payroll Institute/Canadian Payroll Association is an asset
Specialization in Payroll/Compensation preferred
Workday experience an asset
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Understanding of confidentiality and compliance
