HR Assistant

The HR Assistant is responsible in providing quality HR support to The HR Team and Team Members in our Brampton Facility.

HR Assistant is also responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the team on various projects.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support Human Resources with ongoing or new projects, with a focus in compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to Team Members.
  • Prepare miscellaneous Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents as needed.
  • Assist in a variety of HR projects.
  • Work proactively with other Team Members.
  • Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Successfully completed a postsecondary degree or diploma, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 1 year of work experience, preferably in a customer service or public facing role.

  • Expected workload: 40 hours/week, on site in our Oshawa Manufacturing Facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must have good eye hand coordination.
  • Ability to work quickly.
